DATE PET can also be used for reading microchips implanted in horses and, more generally, in equidaes.
Horses microchip
The microchip is injected about half the length of the neck under the mane, usually on the left side. The code of the microchip is stored in the database and shown on the passport that allows you to identify safe and virtually without error the owner of the animal.
Horse Registry
The Horse Registry records information about the horses, their owners and holders and companies where they are kept. All horses to be registered must be identified and must be recorded even their movements or change of ownership.
According to the current legislation, all equidaes living in Italy must be identified and registered at the Horse Registry which, through its territorial agencies, must instruct the veterinarian for the microchip inoculation and the animal identification.
The law states that all horses, donkeys, mules and hinnies born on the territory after 01/01/2007 or without any identification document (passport or health card) must be registered at the Horse Registry, in accordance with decisions 93/623/EEC and 2000/68/EC.
Microchip Scanner
DATE PET allows you to easily read the code of the microchip stored in the database and printed on the animal passport and to recognize your horse with no errors.
