DATA PET is compatible with all microchips for animal identification in accordance with ISO standard 11784/11785.

The multifunction button allows an instant and an easy-to-use of DATA PET microchip scanner.

1- Power and reading

When you press the button, the message “DATA PET reader” will appear first, followed by “search”. Now DATA PET is ready to be used and can be brought near the animal where the microchip for identification is located. After few seconds a beep will confirm the reading and the display will show the microchip data. To do another reading again press the button, “search” will appear, DATA PET is ready to be used.
 

2- Display data memory

DATE PET can store up to 15 readings. To display saved readings press the multifunction button until “search” will appear. Then keep pressing the button for about 5 seconds until “Last num.” appears, then release. To scroll through the saved readings press the button.

 

3- Auto off

DATE PET has an automatic power off system. Press the button until “search” appears. After 90 seconds of inactivity the player will turn off automatically.
 

4- Power

DATE PET is powered with a 9V alkaline battery. The battery is located under the cover on the backside. DATE PET has a low-battery indicator. When the battery life left is at 30% -40%, the “low battery” indication will be displayed. In case of low battery reading distance may be limited.
 

5- Warranty service

Warranty is provided against defects in material and workmanship under normal use, for a period up to 3 years from the date of purchase.
